Hello, I am Francesca.

I am a newborn, maternity, baby and family photographer based in Cambridge, UK. Since 2010 I have welcomed so many babies into this world, seen many families growing, and created precious memories for them.

My work is simple on purpose. No baskets, no funky props, no distractions — only you, your baby, and the light.

Every session takes place in a calm, quiet studio in Cambridgeshire, ten minutes west of Cambridge. There is no rush and no schedule to keep — babies set the pace, and I follow.

Mornings, usually

Sessions are normally held in the morning. If an afternoon suits your family better, ask when you enquire and it can be arranged.

Neutral tones

Creams, whites and warm greys, so the photographs will still feel right in twenty years.

Parents included

The photographs that matter most are the ones with you in them.

Unhurried

Feeding, settling, starting again. A newborn session takes as long as it takes.

Where families come from

The studio is in Papworth Everard, just off the road between St Neots and Cambridge, and for many families it is a shorter drive than the middle of Cambridge. From Cambourne it is ten minutes; from St Neots, Huntingdon and St Ives, fifteen to twenty.

Others come a little further: down the A1 from Peterborough, up it from Biggleswade, past St Neots from Bedford, along the A14 from Newmarket, across the fen from Ely, and from Royston and Saffron Walden in the south. Each town has its own page, with the way here and the places near home I would choose for photographs outdoors.
