Family Prices

Family packages start at £499 for a forty minute session with ten digital images, and go up to £850 for ninety minutes with every image, twenty prints and a short film.

Session and photographs are one price. Nothing is added afterwards.

Outdoors, in the countryside around Papworth Everard and Cambridge. I have a handful of places I return to — woodland, open fields, a stretch of long grass that turns gold in the evening — and I will suggest one that suits your family and the season.

If you have a place that means something to you, we can go there instead. Some of my favourite sessions have been in people's own gardens.

The hour before sunset, almost always. The light is low, warm and forgiving, and children are past the worst of the afternoon.

In midwinter that means late afternoon; in June it can be close to nine in the evening. We choose the time around your children rather than the other way round.

Nothing matching, and nothing new. Soft, plain colours in the same family photograph well together — creams, sand, muted greens and blues — and everyone should be comfortable enough to sit on the ground.

I send a short guide with a few examples once the date is booked.

We move the date, at no cost. English weather is not a reason to lose a session, and a grey sky is often better light than a bright one — it is heavy rain we avoid, not cloud.

Probably not, and that is fine. I do not ask children to pose or to look at the camera on command. We walk, play, and let them be themselves, and the photographs happen inside that.

I have three children of my own. Nothing yours do will surprise me.
